The famous brown bottle and one of Estée Lauder’s hero products. I am late with regards to trying it out and the reason is that Estée Lauder as a brand was never part of my consideration set of brands. Their advertising was targeted towards white women for so long that I never considered it to be a brand that would cater to me. As of today, they have diversified their offering and imagery but their internal structures still have a long way to go in their representation in both gender and diversity.
Anyways, I have been using the serum for a few months now. My skin initially broke out in the first two weeks, it always does when I try new products. Besides, I had heard good things about this serum so I was going to stick it out and I wasn’t disappointed. I have been using it day AND night, despite it being a night serum. My skin is more supple & hydrated, the brown bottle is definitely worth it.
